SMLib now builds a round or chamfer whose rail runs off its face across a cliff (an opening's
rim, the body's outline): the blend is made as if its faces continued and what it removes is
subtracted, so it never bridges an opening (owner decision for rig 5158/5181; fork commit
"SMLib, capi: a convex blend overflowing a cliff is subtracted from the body"). The tests that
expected a refusal for such blends now expect the body, each answer from the geometry:
- variable_radius_on_a_box_edge: 2 -> 50 on the 10x20x30 box's top edge builds at
3546.18767939 (circular sections in y = const, the r x r square less the quarter disc,
clipped to the box; rel 1e-4).
- variable_radius_from_a_spline: the "big" law builds at 6000 - 726.5334566720 (de Boor law,
split at the knot and where r crosses 10).
- a_chamfer_meets_sloped_end_planes: chamfer 25 removes 11500 - 4625 * slope
(integral of 40 - 2 * slope * y over z >= y - 5).
- g2_fillet_refuses_invalid_geometry: G2 at 25 builds at 6138.1606889 (the quintic section
with control points at thirds, clipped to 20x20, along 20).
- fillet_max_each_reduces_only_where_the_radius_does_not_fit: both edges take 4, 24438.7317761.
- hostile_inputs_are_errors: chamfer 30 on the cube builds at 1000 (y + z <= 10 along 20);
R50 still fails.
- kernel-cases fillets/1080: the 9 mm chamfer into the openings builds at 3350
(method in expected.json).

Cases from the issues filed after #4160, each a synthetic recipe with its own answer
(analysis or invariants); every other issue in the range is listed with why it was skipped.

A tray with seven rounded edges, both rim rounds of a tube, a chamfer on
a joined L-shaped body, and a circular pattern of a chamfered hole, each
with an analytic volume.

Every other fillet, chamfer and blend issue and PR, one line each: auto-filed reports from private designs (picks and error only), sketch fillets and chamfers, UI, previews and navigation, feature and fit-option requests, reference cases that already exist in tests/oracle, surface modelling, and failures that belong to booleans, shell, import, tessellation, sheet-metal or threads.

The graded volume was right; the derivation text quoted the union as 46476.5 instead of 45571.7.

Copies of filleted and chamfered features (a pasted block, a pattern of pockets with corner rounds, a pattern of chamfered bosses), a grille of rib roots, a join that needs a boolean retry followed by a fillet, and curvature-continuous fillets worked out from the documented quintic section.

Rounds along curved outlines, with the removed volume worked out by Pappus or by integration: merged cylinders, a D prism, a rounded rectangle with 0.02 mm end edges, a long box beside quarter turns, vertical corners after bottom rounds, a bent tube end, a boss's bottom arc, bars running into a boss, an edge ending on a curved wall, and the knife-edge arc corner.

Rounds with their own right answers: a radius larger than the ring it runs along (refused), a pick on a smooth seam (refused), a far edge pick (refused), a round that uses up an end face or a wall, a round over a hole, rounds on both sides of a thin wall and concentric with an inner one, a round on a sphere's flat cut, an edge ending on a tangent seam, and rims on B-spline ramps.

Chamfers on boxes, plates, discs and sectors with closed-form volumes: all twelve edges in the order that was refused, a concave chamfer that adds material, a chamfer next to square openings and one that runs into them, a hole rim tangent to the bottom face, a hex hole's corner bevels, a one-pick chain on a large part, a bottom loop as wide as the corner round, two distances on a circular rim, the end outlines of a rounded prism, a chamfer over a joined pin, and the equal chamfer of a slanted plug. Spline-sided pillar (invariants only) for chamfer and fillet.
