run_case read stdout and stderr only after the child exited. A child that
writes more than the pipe buffer blocked in write and was killed at the
timeout as a hang (booleans/4623 with boolean routed to solidcore prints
65.9 KB). Two reader threads now drain the pipes while the rig waits; the
timeout still kills the child and reports a hang.
