jyviko 2b2229ab31 Wave 389/509: Kernel rig: one results check, each {step, pointer?, json, rel?, abs_mm?} (and 3 more)

4 commits, squashed; the originals stay reachable from tag archive/merge-main-develop.

- 6af622978 jyviko: Threads: a taper thread's groove follows its crest cone across the section, so no sliver of the flanks is left
- 3f5efdf70 jyviko: Kernel rig: one results check, each {step, pointer?, json, rel?, abs_mm?}
- dc093b0cb jyviko: Kernel rig: a symmetric surface extrude with no convention is the total distance (#9091); the per-side reading is its own case
- 55338e139 jyviko: Kernel rig: each area's PATHS names only its own files, and EXEMPT lists only commands no case uses
